Sunny, Cool & Breezy; Day 2 - Foggy, Windy, Rainy
Day 1 - Mike on s/v "Beaujolais" - St Margaret's Bay, stopped by to chat about THE "Gulf of Maine/Bay of Fundy" crossing. Afterwards, dinghied to Dysart's wharf, walked into town, had an early dinner and spent the night checking weather regularly to determine Gulf of Maine/Bay of Fundy crossing.
Day 2 - the sky darkened, the wind picked up, the rain came down heavily and visibility almost instantly became zero-zero. With the waves kicking up, East wind of 25 knots, us rock'n & roll'n on our mooring in thick fog, it was NOT a good sleep so it was time to find new shelter. Right decision, 20 mins later, 3 nm away, Northeast Hbr, aka "Hurricane Hole", flat calm water and no fog. One thing was sure, we need a good rest for tomorrow's crossing.
