Wow! After only one day, I can already say that the AdSense experiment has been a rousing success. And, we have all of you wonderful readers to thank for it.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! A special thanks goes to Larry for suggesting the idea oh so many months ago (now I'm sorry it took so long for me to implement).
Who would have thought that we could make over $30 in a single day simply via your clicking efforts? The
'Click Here' banner will remain at the bottom of each blog post, encouraging you to follow it to our Ad site and open an
Ad by Google every time you read a blog. As you can see in the table above, each click counts.
Now, I suppose that the pressure is on. I am asking for your assistance to earn money for our kitty, so I really need to step it up and provide click-worthy content. I promise to do my best to keep the postings frequent and interesting. And, as always, Sheryl will continue to capture all of the visual aspects of our experiences on camera. We'll provide you with the best virtual experience possible, the next best thing to actually being here.
Of course, actually being here does have its price. No sooner had Bertha removed herself from our 'to be concerned about' radar than the weather experts began to discuss the fact that the conditions were ripe for another storm to form in the eastern Atlantic. As early as a week ago, their models started suggesting that a wave passing through 40W would get the necessary kick to form a system with closed cyclonic circulation. And, although it is not quite at the tropical cyclone stage just yet, NOAA recently identified Invest 94L:
The good news is that the potential for development is down from what it was last night. However, we will definitely be watching this one closely, because the
very preliminary model tracks take this system right through the island chain of the Lesser Antilles:
So, please stay tuned for all the details as we watch for 94L to earn a tropical depression number or even a tropical storm name. In addition, there are bound to be baby turtles to escort, new fish to identify, and time to enjoy the sunshine on the beach.
You can read about it and see all the photos right here. In the meantime, please click below to visit our Ad site. We truly do appreciate all of your assistance in the new click-to-earn-us-money campaign. As one reader suggested, perhaps I will use the money to purchase a new hat.
