Blowing
"Leave my cares behind, take my own sweet time, ocean's on my mind" -Jimmy Buffet

Here we sit, winds are a blowing (too much), it's a new moon, and the Gulf Stream is boiling. I guess it's fortunate we didn't take off for the Northern Bahamas. We'd be pinned down in a secluded hole with no where to go, no friends to see, no organic stores to shop at. Plus we would have had to air lift in some engine parts at a super premium, premium.

I ordered a valve cover from Japan which will be here in 75 days. Until then Permatex #3 better hold its part of the bargain. And hopefully, I can get Nasa or someone to wash off all the radioactive isotopes from the new engine part.

Kai had a tough day today. He's paying his dues and taking his licks with a little help from his siblings. The kids really enjoy the boating life though. Wake up late, eat, play at the beach, eat, sleep, play at the beach, eat, sleep. It's not bad for Jenny or me either. They are playing in the water park down town on Clematis right now while I sit in Vince Neal's fine drinking establishment looking up weather forecasts. Life has always been good.

In a day or two, or three, we will haul anchor and make our way South. Until then, good tidings.
