Lovely as it is, we were both going a little stir crazy in Port Solent, but plans to head for Chichester today were once again scuppered by the weather. We decided to make a dash for it between the squalls back towards the harbour entrance and into Haslar Marina for a free night with our buy six get one free card, accumulated over a number of years. Payback at last.

Only an hour's trip and somewhat embarrassed to partake in the obligatory beer, but there is nothing non-obligatory about the obligatory!

At least it meant we could spend a pleasant afternoon at the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth, followed by a beer with a view over the harbour. What's not to like?
