A lot of ground to cover
Ia Orana friends! I know, I know, it’s been ages since we’ve written. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover…..so to speak.
In case you’re wondering, yes we did recover from our Raiatea to Mo’orea passage mid-June. We have reflected on it more than once since then, especially in the past week as we’ve prepared for our passage to Rarotonga, Cook Islands – and back to French Polynesia – which we begin this morning, in about an hour!
We’ve had an “interesting” season to date – I promise to take more time to delve into that vague description later. As always, we’re aiming for a smooth passage – 500 miles each way – so I hope to have plenty of time to reflect on the 2018 chapter of our expedition.
For now, I hope you’ve all had a fabulous summer and are feeling the beauty of Fall settling in.
Warmly,
Susan & Rob
