After some frustrating upwind sailing, we made it!
04 July 2015 | Port Resolution, Tanna.

At 1am Yesterday we upped the anchor and headed into the mist bound for Tanna. It rained on an off for most of the next 12 hours, and visibility was less than a mile. Wind was fickle going from less than 5kts to 25. But after a lot of tacking, lots of motoring in the lulls, and lots of waves as we got close to Tanna, we finally dropped anchor just before 5pm. David Taylor gave a whistle from the shore, and shortly afterwards we found him standing on a beach with his bags a ready, and I think a sense of relief that we were actually coming to get him!
Weather is overcast and ordinary here, with SE winds blowing 15kts. So its off to explore!
