Well today is Sunday and we are running errands and getting ready to have the new sails fitted on Monday. YEAH!!!!!. We have found a marina in Beaufort and are looking forward to doing a good bit of sailing next week. Or plan is to spend a couple of weeks here and sail a little further South. All our lessons of the past weeks have been great learning tools and have made us more in tune with our inner sailors. Yesterday we saw wild horses on Carrot Island, they are amazing with really long tails and manes. They remain wild and are believed to be decendants from the Spanish, although there are many theories. I plan to go out to Shakleford Island and find out more. Jon's eye is healed and my bruises are gone. so we are in pretty good shape. Looking forward to the Ocean.
