Blustery day at the beach

Wild and windy day today, with increasing clouds, and small craft warnings.
We worked around the boat all morning...then in the early afternoon, the Poolers stopped by, on their way to the Beach.
Sort of "blustery" for the actual beach, but there's shopping, and lunch places... So off we all went.
Nice lunch at the Ocean Grille... a little slow in the service dept. but the food was good once it came.
The shopping took us all over the beach area... and we missed the bus by a couple of minutes... So... we walked the 1.2 miles back to the marina.
As Joe pointed out... the walk helped to negate all the calories we just took in.
GOOD POINT!
Nice walk too... When your walking you get to see the normal houses...(instead of these mega-mansions that line the AICW.
People actually live in these houses.
Anyway...Happy hour was on AB tonight... and while we were having drinks with Joe, and Deb... The crew from the s/v Dolphin stopped by...
The last time we saw them was in Atlantic Highlands NJ, before Hurricane Sandy... We've all traveled a long way...

Wonderful time at a Finger-Lakes wine tasting tour, organized by our daughter, Ruth.
The tour was followed by a B-day celebration, and dinner at a local restaurant.
Friends, and Relatives gathered from all over NY, and PA. GREAT TIME !!!

Propeller staightened, and cleaned up by professional prop shop.... two dents, and numerous nicks... and scratches...gone now... plus "pitch" checked and trued...

Traveling with Benny and Lisa on the S/V Rhiannon, and then Ilene, and Roger, on the s/v ILENE. Beautiful Beaufort SC until we had to leave before our anchor let GO in a blow and tide... and a wonderful ST. Mary's Thanksgiving.
