EASTER MONDAY -- 2 April 2018
Dingus DAY in WNY...
WE moved from Manjack Cay to Green Turtle Cay this morning before high tide; then entered harbor at just after HIGH Tide... Took mooring ball from Donnie's Boat Rentals.... And have just completed all the necessary STUFF... extra mooring lines; add water to potable water tanks; get garbage ready to go to shore...; Etc.
Now for lunch; and relaxing; ;)
Started to fix dinghy seat... (it's sort of in the process of "breaking" ....) But need longer screws than I have on board.... But consensus of cruisers seems to think that EASTER MONDay is a holiday here too, with stores, and places closed. SO................. could be a day of relaxation, and music.
Not BAD eh?
WE pumped out the holding tank on the way over her from Manjack... because you shouldn't pump over board in a closed harbor like this... and We don't!!!
Donnie's mooring Ball (that AB is ON)... is at N26 45.552 W077 19.395 (I'll plot that later on the SAILBLOGS BLOG page... for those of YOU that go there.
SO............Time for LUNCH !! It's been a busy morning so far....

Wonderful time at a Finger-Lakes wine tasting tour, organized by our daughter, Ruth.
The tour was followed by a B-day celebration, and dinner at a local restaurant.
Friends, and Relatives gathered from all over NY, and PA. GREAT TIME !!!

AB on the Hard for bottom work, and new paint.
Propeller staightened, and cleaned up by professional prop shop.... two dents, and numerous nicks... and scratches...gone now... plus "pitch" checked and trued...

Traveling with Benny and Lisa on the S/V Rhiannon, and then Ilene, and Roger, on the s/v ILENE. Beautiful Beaufort SC until we had to leave before our anchor let GO in a blow and tide... and a wonderful ST. Mary's Thanksgiving.
