wow.... our Sunset bay vacation is over.... what a great time we had... We've shortened the cottage time to ONE week...so the family, HERD, and friends coming and going seemed, at times, like a BLURRRR..... but always FUN...
There's no way I can match the picture taking of our daughter, Ruth, and husband Matt.... but I'll be posting some in the near future... here and BLOG...
Now comes the transport of all the STUFF (required for the cottage, and entertaining) back to the AB... including the restocking of food for the AB.... We tried to empty and use all the food from the AB freezer.... (We did not make it... so we'll try to use as much as possible here at the Pomerhn's, while we finish up with local doctors, etc.
We had great "music on the porch" almost every day... Charlie has gotten so good at runs, and riffs on the guitar... We were both learning from each other, all week. GREAT !!
Matt and I traded COOKING duties all week... Matt did a huge chicken BBQ on Thursday.... when a lot of the HERD came back out to the cottage....
Amanda and a few of the grandkids came out for nearly the entire week... (except for Christmas, it's really the only time we can spend any time with them.... (but that brings up an entirely different story line.... but one for later). LIlly and Jason-Dean got along wonderfully; playing together all week.
The older grandkids, like Makayla, and William also came out to the cottage at the end of the week... so we got to visit with them and their girl/ boy friends.... NICE...
All in all...... a great WEEK!!!
