Friday, October 18, 2019 -- Weems Creek (Annapolis,MD)…
Susan and I were just talking about the date – 18 OCT -- Last year, at this time we, basically, had NOT started South, yet…. Susan and Ruth just coming back from out west, (canyons, and New Mexico Balloon Fest. ). SO…………….. I guess, even though we’re “hanging around” Annapolis MD, a little longer than ususal… we’re “ahead of the Game”….
Susan might stay on shore for a wee bit, this weekend, with Deb Taber…. Then… weather permitting, we’ll sail South toward Deltaville, Great Wicomico, etc. (not in that order)….
The TV here in Weems Creek is marginal, at best… CBS/ ABC comes in fine for a ¾ of the time…then craps out… completely….for the rest… SO…………We’ve started watching OLD TV series from the 5 Terabyte hard drive…. (much better)…
We have not seen our friends on “Five and Dime”, even though we’re anchored next to them… WIND, and RAIN, etc. being the culprits here… (Nor-easter storm)…. NOW, I hear on the SSB (High Freq. Radio) that they’re leaving this PM for Deltaville, VA. (insert sad face here).
WELL….. that was truly Weird…. Kathy (s/v Five and Dime) just CALLED… and invited us over to “get warm”….(obviously they have the heat pumps ON)…. OK…. Then… I’ll end this here….
