Today we make our final sail back to Bocas del Toro, where we will begin on Monday working on Away and preparing her for while we are in the States.
But we decide based on the beautiful weather to make this a long sail and to mix in our two favorite snorkeling places. These are reefs that have become the foundation for mangrove swamps, and the colors of the coral and starfish and plants growing from the coral are stunning, with beautiful bright yellows, purples, red, all mixed together with a few medium sized fish and thousands of tiny silver fish darting through the clear water.
A fantastic finale for our final leg of a memorable trip, to say the least.
Tomorrow we plan to visit Red Frog Marina before we enter into Bocas Marina to begin preparing Away for hibernation.
