Galley Slave/Hot again!
We left Benodet this morning at 8am with John and Inge following on behind. Inge was at the fuel pontoon to take our lines as she has done on a couple of occasions to enable us to fill up before we left, which was lovely and for the last time. We are going our separate ways us to continue south and them to return back eventually to UK.
We are only three hours from the last port but having learnt a valuable lesson in that you have to arrive before the weekends we didn't want to go too far. The facilities are very good - still no seats on the loos - but the showers good; although the office closes at 9pm and therefore so do the facilities; but hey-ho we are in France. (John notice a score - 3)
We found the Tourist Office and so have found the small supermarkets in the town but Graham decided that we could walk to the big one on the outskirts of town which he had found using his phone (only 2 mins by car- but we ain't got one, so shankes pony it was !) just for a look.....its big and lovely and the choice good and they had PG TIPS, and we need a car to be able to shop till we drop!!!!!
No photos as yet as we forgot to take it on earlier walk but will add over the next few days.
Internet connection brilliant. Fuel pumps on wall and about 10 foot above us if we had tried to fuel her here!
