Cabo San Jose

Anxious to be on our way in advance of forecasted headwinds we left Cabo San Lucas for an intermediate port at San Jose del Cabo just 17 miles away. This proved to be a rough ride with 10-15 kts on the nose, but well worth it. San Jose is a pretty colonial town with a large number of art galleries. We enjoyed strolling the streets and galleries surrounding the central plaza and historic church as well as trying several great little restaurant. San Jose is also the headquarters of Baja Brewery, a microbrewery that came highly recommended by Jim and Heather on Meercat. I particularly liked the dark Escorpio Negro brew! Thanks guys!
Skid also made friends with 2 dogs on a neighboring boat headed for La Paz, so he may have playmates along the way.
