And the beat rolls on...The weather has been beautiful, but the wind is pretty light thus making for a slow passage (~5 kt avg boat speed). We are now about 1/3 ofthe way to Samoa, it is sunny and warm and we've been flying the spinnaker all day. Last night, the sea was glass and we motored all night. At least batteries and water are all topped up. The latest weather forecast suggests we'll have more wind starting tomorrow and lasting about 4 days. Hopefully we can make good time and close with Samoa before it goes soft again. This is actually a great opportunity for Wendy and I to doublehand the boat on a long passage, since the Fiji to NZ leg is the same length, but can have more difficult weather conditions. So far, all is well aboard Bangorang and we're looking forward to picking up the pace soon.
