Well the wind has truly died at this point. It was strange watching the seas from yesterday going from 20+ knots of wind and 3 meters in the morning down to <5 knots by sunset and flat. Now the wind is almost non existent and we are motoring through the calm. It is cold and foggy at the moment but we run the heater in the cabin so we always have a place to get warm. We also have access to warm showers with the motor running and that makes all the difference. We expect the wind to be pretty light for the rest of today and only getting a little stronger over the next few days. Although we aren't moving quickly, it is very relaxing and restful, so I am somewhat enjoying it. It is strange and exciting to think that the trip is less than a week from being over. By the end of this, I will have been traveling for 4 months, over 50 days of which were out of sight of land, covering almost 8000 miles, 6 Islands, 3 countries and across the worlds largest ocean..... yeah I put that on my resume when I continue job hunting upon returning home. Probably only 1 more blog post from me after this one and we will keep you updated should anything change. Best -Gavin
