We have now set an earliest departure date of 1st October. So all being well we will leave on the first weather window from that day forward. In the meantime we have more to see before we go.
We left Denarau yesterday and headed over to Musket Cove. It's a jolly place but with a lot of boats at anchor. Oh have we been spoilt! We lasted a night there and today headed over to the tiny Namotu Island for some solitude and some diving. We had arranged for a dive company to come out from Denarau and meet us here, which they did. We did two dives with them, both quite different and both really interesting. On the second the visibility was not very good but the fish were amazing. We also had a few sharks and turtles to look at.
It's an idyllic spot here so we have decided to stay the night. It is a bit exposed but the forecast is very settled.
Oh btw... we are told that this island is owned by Google for use by its senior management. It is very near the Cloud Break wave - a world famous surf spot.
