Incorrect way to wire a boat!

I've been pulling, cutting and cussing at the rats nest of wires on my boat! This is the before photo... There are ground wires zip-tied to the propane hose, wires going every which way with no real plan. I hope to have the re-wire job completed tomorrow.
I've also been working on re-routing the propane line. I'm full of fiberglass from drilling new holes in the bulkheads to separate the hose from all the electrical wires.
I also wired up a couple LED lights that are just amazing! I was comparing them to the 'NORMAL' lights that pull an amp when they are on, but when I turn on the LED lights, I don't even get a reading on my amp meter! They are the way to go!!!!!! When the prices come down, I plan to replace ALL the lights onboard to LED, including the mast nav lights.
The Canvas guy was here tonight for some more measurements and install a few snaps on the cockpit area for a sailing bimini. (rain & sun shade)
I'll start a daily blog to show you all how the boat is coming along. I'm expecting to get ALOT done in the next few days!
I don't think the July 1st departure date is gonna happen now. I'm having way to many set-backs. Plus I really want to take a week and go see my two kids, grandson and my Grandmother in Minnesota... My Mom in Alabama... Brother and family in Louisiana, Sister and family in Mississippi and Mother and family in Alabama... Wow! is right!!! I think I'll need a month for that trip!!!! ;)
I talked to one of my neighbors at the marina the other day. He pumped me full of information about heading up the Inside Passage. I can't wait to get going!
Well, it's late and I need to get up early for a change and jump back into the rats nest of wiring... ugh!
Cheers!
