This is a view of the cut from the ocean taken from inside the harbor looking out. The cut isn't visible from the ocean side approach until you are right upon it as it slants to the North East . We had been forewarned about this from reading Active Captain reports and still felt apprehension until we made the turn. Once in the cut it's all good. To rough to go out the cut for a picture today and soon to be worse. Time to get out the books and relax.
I tried to find out who and why the cut was made by google search but came up empty handed. Apparently this area was once a playground for Hollywood people and has been the focus of several failed big money investors. Meantime it is a very relaxed and cool place
