Accumulating more boat stuff

We head back to BVI in a few days to spend a week or so on the boat. We are both getting anxious to move aboard. Only 6 1/2 months to go!! Bill is beginning to feel like a "short-timer" at work.

We have purchased a very nice tiny 12VDC computer for marine environment, a 12-inch daylight-viewable waterproof monitor for the cockpit, and a 19-inch monitor for the nav station which will also serve for watching DVDs. We see no point in having a television as we do not plan to remain for any length of time in areas which will have television reception. Have started to collect movie DVDs for future entertainment.

We have also purchased the latest version of Maxsea charting software and worldwide electronic charts. Trying to get more organized with all our paper sailing guides, travel guides, books in general, and paper charts.

Need to get busy putting more CDs on the iPod.

Still many things to do.
