Fish feeding
14 July 2011
After lunch the kids enjoyed a short swim with the local bat fish, enormous sand snapper and remora (which are possibly the same ones from Low Islets that have hitched a ride). These fish suddenly appear at the aft of the boat moments after any scraps have been thrown in for them. We’ve discovered they like cooked pasta and bread scraps, along with pieces of coconut. Without noticing Drina rushed into her bathers so quickly that she didn’t realise she was snorkelling very confidently in deep water without her swimming vest – clever girl!
Tomorrow we’re thinking of exploring the beautiful Blue Lagoon Bay to see more coral and fish of this secluded and isolated heaven. Then we’re looking forward to Pizza night at the Marlin Bar that the Resort provides for day visitors. Hopefully we’ll be able to post Kieran’s letter that he has been busy compiling over the last few weeks in response to all his class mates.
