Wil
Well I invited our new neighbors for cocktails on the Bella Laguna and got an indefinite reply, "Later"
So, we drank the cocktails and walked to the Atlantis Resort which with its hotel, casino, dining and shopping village is just a Bahamian version of the Hotel/Casinos in Las Vegas or Atlantic City.
However with all due respect the lush tropical landscaping and their Aquarian are absolutely breathtaking, if you're out of breath, just kidding.

What for me was more interesting were the other Boat People (as distinguished from the other Yacht People) we met at our Hurricane Hole Marina's Laundry Room, Pool and Tiki Bar. Also my morning runs exploring Paradise Island's residential area of beautiful vacation homes, followed by coffee and papers at the News Caf (same as the one in Miami) near the Marina.

After four days of hanging out at the Marina pool and bar, dinning out at Atlantis Village, watching the Wimbledon finals, re-provisioning across the bridge in Nassau and some maintenance work on the Bella, we shoved off (I think that's a nautical term for leaving) in route to the Exuma Land and Sea Park about 60 miles southeast or southwest, whatever, of Nassau.
