I really enjoy the life here in Bermuda, I've been here since 2010 and was orignally from the UK. The weather in England as you probably know leaves a lot to be desired, and as I lived inland I was never able to sail as much as I liked other than mirrors and toppers on a nearby lake.
Bermuda really gives me the opportunity of indulging my sailing passion, the island is very small which makes it somewhat limited as a place to live. There are however many good things about living here.
The weather for one is 20C in Winter and around 29C in summer which is great, also sailing is possible at any time of the year, I am lucky enough to live on a sea front property so it is easy for me to get to my cat which is only a few meters from shore.
My kids go to a great school called Saltus. You can watch this vid for more information about that.
The island has many festivals and events for tourists so the atmosphere is great most of the year.
The small size of the island makes work an issue, I worked for a major accountancy firm for around 5 years but my contract with them ended, I now run my own Fintech business but it is very expense locally to recruit so I use a lot of people in Eastern Europe which then brings their own issues along.
