Day 14

We explore the docks and areas around. These docks are huge. We walk miles. Found a Starbucks in town.

Day 6

Day Six.
We get an early start. 6 00 am.
Just as its getting light.
Nice to be on the way again.
Next leg is to Baha Sant Maria.
A bay way down the coast. Low winds on the way out of the bay but by 9 am they pick up and we have the best day sailing you can imagine.
Champagne sailing. With out a doubt.
The best. 20 knots of wind behind us. Long rollers. Warm temperatures without being sticky hot. I can only say this is what we cruisers dream about.
Hundred boats all out there enjoying the same Champagne sailing.
The radio traffic of congratulations is intense.
Dreams being fulfilled.
We have s great day of sailing covering good ground till dusk when the wind died on us.
On goes the motor again.
We motor all night and much of the following day till the wind picks up again.
We popped the head sail up for several hours and made good progress.
About 2 am during my shift that the wind died.
Then we motored again till we got to Santa Maria bay.
In thick fog.
