Day 14

We explore the docks and areas around. These docks are huge. We walk miles. Found a Starbucks in town.

Day 12
We pull into Cabo San Lucas bay. What a sight!
Many fine looking hotels on the shore and hundreds of boats moored in the bay.
We are warned that's it's not a good anchorage.
Sandy bottom so the anchor has difficulty in holding plus it gets deep quickly.
So it's a sandy slopping bottom.
Oh great.
Crew describe it as packed like a parking lot.
Hard to find any room on the sand bar.
Too far in and your liable to be aground in the morning and too far out you are likely to blow off your anchorage in the night.
Plus it's packed.
The row of boats seems endless.
We pick a spot and hope for the best.
We drag and re anchor three times.
Finally we settle for the night and go to sleep.
About two hours later we gat a knock on the hull to say GetUp. Your drifting out to sea!
One of the Panga or water taxi drivers noticed we are drifting out to sea. So we up anchored and the set against further down the beach.
Now we take turns at anchor watch which we should have done in the first place.
It's a delightful night.
We can hear loud music off in the distance.
Cabo is a party town.
