At anchor in Echo Bay

We left Beckwith island after an uncomfortable night in swells that caused the boat to roll all night. with each roll I heard a clanking sound. The direction was not clear. Something inside the mast?, The barbecue?, halyards?, another boat?. After climbing out of bed a couple of times and searching for the elusive sound I gave up and put in the trusty ear plugs and crawled back in bed. At breakfast the next morning I noticed 2 bear cans rolling back and forth under the companionway, clunk, clunk, clunk, grrrrrr.
The sail from Beckwith across Georgian Bay to the small craft channel was exhilarating. We averaged 7 knots of speed in a steady 15 Knots of wind. Half meter waves made us glad we were a sailboat again.
We took anchorage for the night in a very protected spot called Echo Bay, just north of the famous Henrys all you can eat pickerel restaurant. The above photo is what we woke up to in the morning.
After 2 years in storage I inflated the dingy and started the mercury 6 hp 4 stroke outboard. It started on the 3rd pull and we now have our taxi for travels when we are at anchor.
