Enjoying St. Augustine

28 November 2012
Barb
We arrived in St. Augustine and with the use of the harbor's courtesy car, we did our shopping, had happy hour at King Fish Grill and visited historical areas in St Augustine. We got night shots of the Fort and surrounding areas. We enjoyed another bowl of soup at the Casa Maya where we had a beautiful 2nd floor balcony table overlooking the street and had the accompaniment of a piano player during dinner. It reminded me of New Orleans. St Augustine was the earliest European settlement in the country and has many tourist sites claiming to be the oldest; approximately 50 years before the pilgrims arrived.
