The Baja peninsula is wildly green and flowering after a huge watering by hurricane Jimena last Spetember. There was much too much water all at once, causing serious damage all along Highway Trans-peninsular 1. Santa Rosalia, Mulege, and Loreto were all damaged and bridges were washed out. Now there is verdant green where it is normally not seen this time of year.
