Champagne Beach

Yesterday we swam at Champagne Beach, given it's name because of the fine bubbles that rise up from the sea floor. The fine bubbles are from volcanic gases that are released through cracks in the rock. When you dove down to the sea floor, you could feel the warmth of the gases.
We have been staying at Roseau for 4 days trying to get the engine serviced. We found out today that they still had to order a part which would take 3 days. Time to move on.
We sailed to Portsmouth, 3 hours of pleasant beam reach sailing with some hard on the wind. We had some problems dragging the anchor due to weed but finally found a sand patch and have snorkelled and checked the anchor, all good.
