We were on the island for Carnival On the French side but somehow missed it so I was determined to see the Dutch side Carnival. We arrived 3 hours too early and left after just under an hour of incredibly loud thumping music.
The costumes and kids were great( photos to follow), but the noise from huge speakers either end of the trucks that were with each group was positively a health hazard. It is still moving slowly along Fromt street but we have retired to. Bar on the beach for some well earned quietness. We must be old
