Also the roof hatch over the main saloon had a split in the perspex (and Ive always been worried about standing on it) plus it was leaking badly whenever it rained so thats apart and been sanded ready for coelan varnishing

Also ive had all of the sail covers down and repaired the damaged stitching on the mizzen and main , the little jib was just beyond more patches, so I cut it off and replaced it completely - just about to finish it and the machine wont play along ...grrrr

Once the roof was finished I bonded two new solar panels into position, hopefully now enough power to run the fridge at anchor, then the beers never need to be warm .


STAINLESS STU:

The shower tray has been a job on the to do list for YEARS , Ive attempted to make one myself, but it was messy and I was to embarrassed to use it (if it would have fitted) to my rescue - Stuart the stainless , has made a tray for a sensible price and also done the mount for passerelle that fits on the hydrovane - HAPPY CUSTOMER




The joiner brought back the hatch frames today , the sun was shining but a tad windy , no big deal , Ill just put all the cockpit covers up , keep the heat off , keep some of the dust off , keep some bugs away etc.

Three coats of thinned down varnish lovingly applied - then three coats of full thickness varnish and last coat applied , time to kick back, have a cuppa, read some emails.
