Vicariously living the sailing adventure through others

Vessel Name: Yet to be named
Vessel Make/Model: Hopefully another Beneteau
Hailing Port: Seattle, WA
Crew: Captain Max, Navigator Maren, Cheif Cook and Bottle Cleaner Molly, Cruise Activity Director Kaija
About: Max is the resident expert single hander. Originally owned Roxy, a 32' Beneteau First. Molly fell in love with the man first and then the boat. Maren was conceived on the boat, hence her name derived from the French mare for sea. Kaija is of the land, earth goddess gaia.
Extra:
Roxy was sold to Matt and Carol who have loved her into a new era. She is looking very spiffy these days. Right now we live vicariously through other peoples sailing adventures. If anyone comes across a young couple by the name of Gommersaul, that would be John, Kim and two beautiful children [...]

Father's Day 2008.

Max and the girls took Bella the chocolate lab to Marymoor Park to play at the off leash area. I've been busy reviewing contacts and updating the guest book for our lodge. My dad called me today before I got a chance to call him. I love it when he calls... it is so rare.

Today is sunny and warm. It is important to know that it is the second day of sun and warm we have had since the one hot sunny day in May. Even if it was not sunny and warm, it sure would have felt like summer when Max said that I was his soul mate. Sigh! I love that man!

Yes, I fell in love with a sailor. I fell in love with the man at the bottom of Wildcat chairlift, and then found out he owned a sailboat! As the next few weeks and months go by, our story will slowly emerge, sprinkled in with the mundane musings and goings on in our household.

Aloha!
