I found Emerald Seas on this blog so decided to join and put in my two cents. Blue Heaven is a 2002 Hunter Passage 450. A center cockpit sloop that our crew is very fond of. The crew consists of Captain Jim "Basement Boy Jimmy" Jackson, Admiral Marlene H. Jackson, 1st dog Tootsie the wirehaired fox terrier and Sam L. the long haired black cat with the gimpy hind leg.
We have been cruising off and on since 2007 when we bought Blue Heaven in Miami Beach and sailed her to the Abacos. She spent a year in the Abacos while we went back and forth to Montana.
In July of 2008 we left Montana and started our cruising life in earnest. We sailed from the Abacos back to Florida where we spent several months in Stuart, Florida getting Blue Heaven ready for extended cruising. We left Stuart made our way down the coast to No Name Harbor just south of Miami and then sailed to Bimini, arriving on the evening of Valentine's day. So the big adventure begins.
