OK, so we should have known it was too good to be true. Just when we thought we were getting really close to being ready to go, our engine decides to overheat. After checking the obvious, it's deemed to be the fault of a blown head gasket which Dave & Mike (the chief mechanic in the yard) have now spent the afternoon replacing. Tomorrow morning the engine will be run again and we will find out if our plans to depart on Thursday will have to be reconsidered. The engine issue has already put our preparations back 3 days, so we'll have to see. Watch this space!
