Well, it's been a long time coming but we are in the final stages of boat prep, stocking up on things we need, or think we'll need, and stocking up on things we hope we never need, think of medical supplies, first aid kit replenishment and survival equipment renewals. This weekend we are planning on doing the shopping for our galley, or as it's known in the boating community, provisioning. We have one boat project that is nearing completion, we are getting a dodger for Great Adventure. That is the windshield looking thing that should keep the wind blown spray off of us as well as most of the rain (picture to follow when it's done). We are hoping to set sail next week as soon as we are confident that the weather is going to cooperate. More later!
