Made it to the Keys!
Hello. We are currently anchored in Boot Key Harbor at the Marathon City Marina. Waiting for a mooring ball. When we arrived on Thursday, January 14, we were #10 on the wait list. Today we are #6. We hope to be on a mooring ball in about a week (or less!).

On a quiet morning sprinkled with rain, we set out for warmer temperatures. We have spent the last six nights at Ft. Myers Beach mooring field. Still at Fort Myers Beach
This weekend is the annual FMB Shrimp Festival. There was a parade this morning. It was quite entertaining as some of the participants were taking the wrong path and had to back up and reroute.
The Admiral is back home taking care of business (taxes), but will return with some of the family next Sunday. They have rented a house on a canal in Cape Coral, FL off the river. The plan is for me to motor up there and tie off to a dock behind the house.
We have contacted www.sailblogs.com and asked why the links to the photo gallery are missing. Hopefully they will back soon.
