Relaxing at Newcastle

01 May 2016
We are now at Newcastle YC Marina. We had a good trip from Sydney to Pittwater on Monday and a quiet night moored in Towlers. Woke this morning to a thunderstorm which cleared quickly but rain stayed for a few hours heading up the coast. Lovely nor wester which unfortunately turned to a 20knot northerly. We were met by a big ship and two tugs exiting Newcastle harbour so we waited for them to clear off. Easy entry and looking forward to a meal and a good night's sleep. Ted and Winch Bear are getting their sea legs and a great help.
