Your friendly Narrative Manager Samantha Wells | Weather: do you need to ask?
Here's what you need to know:
- Great passage, 7 days 3 hours.
- Calm Gulf Stream crossing.
- NE frontal passage that colored the Predict-o-wind screen bright red with 25-30 kn winds caught up with us on Wednesday, as forecasted, but not too beeead, as they say in New Zealand. In fact, it provided for a good ride.
- Bash going East.
- Fast sailing South.
- Postcard sunrises and suntsetses.
- Calm seas and motoring at the end.
- Great meals onboard, fun for the whole family.
- Caught a tuna and a mahi.
Finally... arrived yesterday midday in Paradise!
(Really, what else do you need to know? Do you really want us to list the not-so-glamorous details? The ungodly hours watch shifts? The "When was the last time I showered?" ongoing dilemma? The cooking with 12-ft seas at the stern or, worse, while nice and close-hauled?... 😂)
