Grrrrrreetings from Grrrrrrenada!
In a nutshell:
- we're at day 11 of a three weeks (for now) lockdown and curfew.
- we're at anchor off Calivigny Island.
- social distancing, stay on your boat, wash your hands, stay 6 ft off me, check. (although we still hear about the occasional non-compliance...)
- moving boats around discouraged.
- sailing elsewhere not an option: nowhere to go, all Caribbean closed or very limited access.
- two days a week allowed for shopping: Saturday and Sunday, divided by last names initial groups.
- let's face it, our backyard doesn't suck. And plenty to do, whether boat project, creative project, swims and workouts, etc.
- however, we keep monitoring developments. In particular, if the food supply situation should worsen, we'll consider sailing back to the US. And, of course, we keep an eye on hurricane season.
Stay safe!
