You beauty! 132nm in 24hrs since yesterday's noontime blog, all in blue sky, blue sea, stiff wind and calm water protected from the grand Pacific Ocean by the massive reef system. And that achieved with very little sail - main with 3rd reef and small jib often partly furled (the necessity of which sometimes a point of contention between Captain & Crew.) Jack very happy with the improved conditions, & both very happy with improved distance covered. This morning I had one of my best sails ever. It really was very pleasant. Probably one of the last glorious stints of Captain Rudie on the helm, before modesty in regard to our new crew and the diminishing temperatures require a cover up.
