North Carolina Day Four
02 November 2009 | Southport, NC
Rich
We left our anchorage just before dawn, no bullet holes detected. After a long day of meandering through the wandering, shallow Intracoastal on a very cool, damp and drizzly day it was a pleasure to travel a few miles on the wide open, deep Cape Fear River to a marina in Southport, NC at the southern tip of the state. We were met by our friend from Rockland County days, Iris Allard, who gave us a tour of Southport which included dinner at great local restaurant.
