Good Times in Charleston

We have had a very relaxed two days in and around Charleston, making some minor boat repairs, cleaning off some Intracoastal salt and silt (from the boat), but mostly visiting familiar places and good friends. Another great dinner at the Mueller's last night joined by Mal and Shirley Fages, a nice brunch on the Isle of Palms with our friend Butchie Phillips today and this evening spent touring art galleries in downtown Charleston that were open for viewing and wine tasting. We also spoke with our longtime Charleston friends Lindsay and Yolanda Payne who have a boat in our marina but were not able to visit due to Lindsay being under the weather. We will see them in the spring. The picture was taken this afternoon at the Cold War Submarine Memorial at Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant. We did note Joe Mueller's name on the plaque acknowledging those who worked diligently to create this very impressive spot. Tomorrow morning we will head back onto the Intracoastal toward Beaufort.
