We spent the past three days in Jacksonville waiting for the rain to stop and for Rich's touch of the flu to pass. I read a Ken Follett mystery cover to cover and went to the commissary and exchange. Rich maintained his appetite and between meals slept. Yesterday I got some Classic Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup and today the Captain got us underway - ah chicken soup does it every time. It was 39 degrees at 7 a.m. and we were prepared with all our winter gear on. It warmed up as the day progressed but we both still had our winter coats on when we tied up at 4p.m. Oh where or where is the warm weather? Today's stretch of the ICW was very enjoyable: fairly straight, wide and deep with lots of beautiful houses along the way. Today's photo is the Lightner Museum located in Old Town St. Augustine. The festive lights in this part of town are outstanding. More about the museum tomorrow after we have gone there.
