I know that we have done dolphins before but I couldn't resist using Rich's brilliant photo of this character who truly entertained us with high jumps and tail slaps - possibly a Sea World escapee. We had a leisurely day getting from St. Augustine to New Smyrna Beach. Yesterday we met a French couple and their 15 year old daughter who have been cruising for ten years, first on a sailboat across the Pacific and more recently on the Grand Banks 42 they brought in Annapolis. Their plan, after cruising Florida and the French West Indies is to take the GB back to Europe where they will cruise the canals. Their daughter is getting an amazing education. Our marina is on the west side of the ICW away from the beach and tourists but is nice and quiet with more festively lit boats.
