Heading Home - Slowly
20 July 2010 | Five Islands, Georgetown, ME

We had great visibility - no fog all day - so spent our first day heading back toward Rhode Island threading our way through coastal islands to enjoy the scenery. We moored at 2:30 at Five Islands, off Georgetown Island, just off our favorite lobster dock that we used to visit in our Boston Whaler from our house in Wiscasset. Our former neighbors, Shifra and David, joined us for lobsters on the dock and a beautiful sunset. As I type this we are back on Brilliant watching fireworks a few miles away, apparently in Boothbay Harbor.
