Oyster Bay Marina was peaceful in the early morning light as we slipped from our mooring at 5:30. Our early departure got us to the Harlem River at slack water making our transit to the Hudson relatively easy. The Palisades, Tappan Zee Bridge and Hook Mt. , our childhood landmarks were amazing to see from the water and the beauty of the river just made our day. Tonight our friends Don, Marguerite and Julia Krom joined us for a fun supper at the marina. Don, Steve and Rich were together at United American Energy. The picture shows us about to pass under one of several low bridges on the Harlem River.
