Rich
Today finally dawned sunny and bright after the recent rains. We had a nice morning walk across the bridge to Edgecomb from Wiscasset and then got underway at a leisurely 9:30. The day was beautiful which made for great sightseeing along the coast that on our last trip to Maine had been shrouded in fog. We are anchored in Maple Juice Cove, off the lower west shore of the St. George River. On one side of the cove is the farm that Andrew Wyeth used in his painting entitled, “Christina’s World”. Tomorrow morning we will make our way through the fields of lobster pots to Camden.
