We left Castine in a dense fog on Tuesday morning and moored in Sylvester Cove in Sunset, ME on the West side of Deer Isle on a Guest mooring at the local yacht club. Our friends Bill and Lanny Anderson have a great house at the head of the cove where we spent the afternoon visiting with them and their son, daughter-in-law and newest granddaughter. One of the highlights of the day, in addition to meeting granddaughter Penny, was a tour by Lanny of summer houses surrounding the cove that have been in her family for many years.
