Rich
The weather continues to be clear and comfortable. We again were underway for only about two hours and moored in Burnt Coat Harbor at the southern end of Swans Island. Swans is a larger island with about 300 permanent residents, almost all involved in fishing and spread out in three small communities. We brought our bikes ashore in the dinghy and discovered that (1) there were no real dinghy docks for visitors and we had to find a spot between some working lobsterman to dock; and (2) although there are no mountains on the island there are no flat roads either - they only go up or down hill. After traveling the length of the island and back we were ready for a relaxing sunset dinner on board.
