Newburyport has fog too! We were able to get underway by 7:15 and when we got into the open waters the fog was gone, the sun shone brightly and the seas were flat and calm - and we were entering the Gulf of Maine. We listened to R&R hits from the 50's through the 80's, Blues, and classical music as we cruised on a steady course and saw an occasional seal enjoying the weather. It was a very relaxing day. Now we are in South Freeport, ME for fuel and some other hopefully minor voyage repairs. Freeport, home of outlet store heaven, where L.L. Bean stays open 24 hours a day and me with no car. Does this man look relaxed or what?
